Don’t Do Situps Every Day


I’ve heard it said that abdominal muscles are different than other muscle groups and so deserve to be worked every day. I disagree! 

There are three layers of muscles in the abdomen – external obliques, internal obliques and the abdominus. Like all other muscles in your body, you need to leave 48 hours rest in between your workouts. Don’t work the same muscles on consecutive days.

So, take a break and don’t worry about working those abs on a daily basis.
