Welcome!
Believing that prayer, Bible study and journal writing are to the spirit what exercise, healthy eating and stretching are to the body Kimberley Payne, a former Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor, designed the books that make up the Fit for Faith series.
Given today's spiritual climate many people are seeking answers. Kimberley collected articles from her weekly column Today's Faith, to build the books in the Voice of a New Christian series. Through her personal experiences she hopes to share with readers her struggles and journey toward God. She writes from a Christian worldview that reflects the character of God without being preachy or condescending.
Her own personal struggle with weight control birthed the book, Diary of a (Wannabe) Loser, where Kimberley kept a journal of prayer, exercise, scripture, and healthy eating. During this time, she not only lost weight but developed a stronger relationship with God. In the book, she added truths in response to the many health and fitness myths that she came across as a former Personal Trainer. She wants to share this book with you.
Kimberley's energetic and enthusiastic presentations, Fit for Prayer, Food for Thought, and Flex your Spirit will motivate and assist individuals to reach their spiritual and physical health goals. She offers these three workshops that guarantee to encourage and empower your group in health.
What people are saying ...
"I wanted to tell you how much I enjoy reading your column. I often find myself thumbing to your article first, rather than finding out what the latest and greatest local news is all about. I can always find something in your articles that I can relate to. I appreciate that you share your ups and downs and put it into perspective through your faith."
