Do you need a little push with your fitness? A punch in the arm to get you going again? Something that’ll get you back into the routine of making health a habit?

If you answered yes to any of those questions, then the JumpStart Challenge is for you!

JumpStart will run for 2 weeks, Monday to Friday, with the weekends off to catch up on any days missed, repeat challenges you like, or just take the time to rest and relax.

As I believe that prayer and bible study are to the spirit what exercise and healthy eating are to the body, I’ll send out a daily email with a prayer, a scripture verse, an exercise challenge, and a healthy eating challenge.

Each email will follow the B.E.E.P. model:

B – Bible Study
Each week, I will provide a new scripture to memorize. Each day, I will provide the same scripture verse but each day a different word will be missing. I am hoping this will help us to memorize one scripture by the end of the week.

E – Exercise
Each day, I will provide a short cardiovascular challenge and every Monday, Wednesday, Friday it’ll be coupled with a simple strength training move to try. Keep in mind, that if you are unable to perform the exercise you can substitute it for something else.

E – Eating Healthy
Each day, I will provide a simple healthy eating challenge to encourage us to start thinking about what we’re putting in our mouths.

P – Prayer
The prayer will be based on the P.A.T.H. to prayer model–P stands for praise, A stands for admit, T stands for thank ,and H stands for help.
